Introductions
I am a board certified family practice physician. I was formerly the Associate Medical Director at the Scripps Otay Family Health Center. I chose to leave the Otay Family Health Center to start my own practice in 2003.

Being in a solo physician practice gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients. When they come to an appointment, they know that I will see them. They also receive continuity of care if they become hospitalized in Chula Vista because I have admitting privileges at both Scripps Mercy Chula Vista Hospital and Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.

I speak English, Spanish, Mandarin and Taiwanese.

My Education

I graduated with my M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1999. In the same year, I also earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology.

My husband and I moved from Boston to Chula Vista so that I could continue my training at the Scripps Family Practice Residency program here in Chula Vista. I was the Inpatient Chief Medical Resident in my third year of the residency program.

Professional Associations

I am licensed by the Medical Board of California and board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I am also a member of the San Diego County Medical Society and the San Diego Academy of Family Physicians. I also participate in the training of new physicians by being a volunteer community faculty member of the UCSD Medical School.

I'm on the medical staff at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista Hospital and Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center.
